How to use mean function in Execl?

MEAN

Mean-The mean is the numerical average of the data set.  The mean is found by adding all the values in the set, then dividing the sum by the number of values.

Lets find Raj’s  MEAN science test score?  
78,18,25,46,65,52,55,63,74,18
=494/10 =49.4
Add all the values. Divide the sum by the number of values.

Business Use - The mean is the most important value when data is scattered, without a typical pattern.The mean can give the average cost and forms a good basis for estimating future costs. The mean can also be used to calculate the average salaries of a company/economy.
